In the micro-heat combined dryer, the compressed air first enters the precooler to exchange heat with the dry compressed air from the adsorption dryer, so that the temperature of the dry compressed air increases, and at the same time, the temperature of the compressed air before entering the evaporator is reduced, part of the water is removed, and it is reduced to room temperature, reducing the workload of the evaporator. Then it enters the evaporator for refrigeration, cooling, and dehumidification so that the compressed air is cooled to about 5°C.
Most of the water, oil, and some impurities in the compressed air are condensed here, and the air and water vapor are separated by the gas-water separator. The water and oil are discharged through the automatic drainer. The compressed air after freeze drying enters the adsorption tower. The compressed air is deeply adsorbed and dried by the principle of pressure swing adsorption until the dew point temperature meets the requirements. The dry compressed air coming out of the adsorption tower returns to the precooler to cool the hot and humid compressed air from the air compressor so that its own temperature can be increased. The heated dry compressed air can also prevent condensation in the conveying pipeline. The regeneration air of the dryer is the dry hot air drawn from the air outlet of the dryer and heated by the heater. Therefore, the adsorbent can be regenerated in a shorter time with very little regeneration gas consumption. The process flow of the micro-heat combined dryer is shown in Figure 2. The compressed air first enters the precooler to exchange heat with the dry compressed air from the dryer, so that the temperature of the dry compressed air is increased, and at the same time, the temperature of the compressed air before entering the evaporator is reduced, and a part of the water is removed to reduce it to room temperature, reducing the workload of the evaporator. Then it enters the evaporator for refrigeration, cooling, and dehumidification so that the compressed air is cooled to about 5°C.
