The MD series modular heatless regeneration compressed air dryer utilizes the principle of pressure swing adsorption and adopts countercurrent heatless regeneration to dry compressed air. Its structure is a dual-tower design, where one tower adsorbs while the other regenerates.

The dryer features multiple groups of adsorption chambers with a large aspect ratio and a modular design. This enhances adsorption and regeneration efficiency, resulting in more compact equipment. It employs novel and reliable technologies like pneumatic cut-off and electronic program control with automatic switching characteristics.

This product series is designed to provide dry and clean compressed air sources for various industries, including petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, food, textile, telecommunications, metallurgy, painting, cigarettes, transportation, and machinery manufacturing.

Detailed Features & Characteristics

1. Adsorption Chamber Design & Efficiency

  • Composed of multiple groups of cylinders with a large aspect ratio (12:1).
  • Multi-cavity directional diversion ensures sufficient adsorption with a small pressure drop (pressure loss < 0.03Mpa).
  • This modular design makes the fuselage structure compact and reasonable, with a small volume.
  • Single adsorption chamber volume is less than 25L, exempting it from the special inspection category for pressure vessels.

2. Regeneration & Energy Efficiency

  • Regeneration gas is directionally diverted, improving regeneration efficiency and reducing regeneration gas consumption and adsorbent filling amount.
  • Employs countercurrent heatless regeneration. About 4-8% of dried compressed air is used to desorb and blow out moisture from the desiccant.
  • The cycle period for the heatless type is 10-30 minutes, switching every 5-15 minutes.

3. Materials & Components

  • Adsorption chamber is made of aluminum alloy (or stainless steel, carbon steel).
  • Upper and lower gas collecting chambers are made of aluminum alloy, preventing secondary gas pollution.
  • The adsorbent uses a molecular sieve to ensure the stability of the outlet compressed air dew point.
  • The valve is a combined valve body with an independent patent design, and the seal uses imported materials.

4. Control & Maintenance

  • The controller offers a variety of selection modes to meet various working conditions and has remote control and communication functions.
  • Installation can be done without a foundation. Maintenance and upkeep are very convenient, reducing maintenance costs.
